Bright Spot Therapy Dogs Lily and Max were the stars on Mass Appeal today for the segment titled: Train Your Pet to Help Others. Both dogs were outstanding examples of the friendly, calm, gentle temperament a therapy dog must possess.

Volunteering with your dog as a Bright Spot certified therapy dog team is a wonderful way to give back to the community. Your dog will brighten the lives of those he/she visits and you will feel good, too, as you watch a person’s face light up with a broad smile when your dog comes into view. It’s a win-win situation. Even the dogs love it! They seem to know they are helping others.

Thank you to Ern Damon, Bright Spot Board member and volunteer, who worked behind the scenes helping with the dogs and taking photos of the show.
