Violet was so looking forward to today’s Labradoodle Reunion at Berkshire Hills in Haydenville, Massachusetts. But, wisely, due to the hurricane predictions, Sunny Goodwin, owner of Berkshire Hills, postponed this fun event until next Sunday. Both Violet and I are hoping for a beautiful sunny, warm day for November 4th. Violet loves romping in the field at Berkshire Hills with her Labradoodle pals – and there will be plenty of them at the Reunion. I’ll have my camera with me to capture all the fun.
Bright Spot Therapy Dogs, Inc. will have an information table set up at the event. We look forward to talking with folks interested in getting their dogs certified as therapy dogs through Bright Spot. Australian Labradoodles are perfect for therapy work. They’re highly trainable and have wonderful friendly, outgoing personalities. Their allergy-friendly coats are a plus, too.
Now – the dogs and I are heading outside. Me: to finish putting the gardens to bed for the winter. The dogs: to spend as much time as possible outside before the rains and high winds hit. Looks like a full week ahead with LOTS OF RAIN. This translates to indoor activities for the dogs. Fingers crossed we don’t lose power (last year at this very time we were without power for seven days!).
