The birthday kids, Lily and King
It’s hard to believe these sweet, gentle dogs are already eight years old. Seems like just yesterday that Lily entered our lives at age two, then King followed at age four.
They are a constant source of joy to our family, and as Bright Spot Therapy Dogs, a comfort to elderly folks in nursing homes, on hospice care, and children in elementary schools.
Birthdays in our house last a full week. This week Lily and King will get some extra birthday treats, lots of walks, ball tossing, and hugs. Well… actually, they get all that every day, because every day with Lily and King is a special day.
Today, we wish them a Happy 8th Birthday, and hope to be celebrating many more birthdays with them. Thank you, Judi Hunter. We can’t thank you enough for entrusting these sweet, gentle litter mates with us here on Bridgvale Farm in western Massachusetts. It’s an honor and privilege to share our lives with them.
