The Eric Carle Museum’s Annual Family Festival was the place to be today. And, judging by the crowds of boys and girls, moms and dads, grandparents and friends, many people knew that there would be lots of FUN things happening at The Eric Carle today.
Our Bright Spot Therapy Dogs were a special treat for many attending the festival that ran from 10:00-4:00.
As soon as the doors opened at 10:00, crowds of families poured through the doors.
A steady flow of boys and girls came over to our Bright Spot information table to meet the Bright Spot dogs there for the event.
They met Australian Cobberdogs Cadence, Finley, and Owen, English Setter Lily, Great Danes Lilo and Tucker, Golden Retriever Emma Pickle, and Labradoodle Lilly.
Today, we launched our Summer Reading Buddy Series to be held at The Eric Carle Museum Monday afternoons in July and August. We explained to folks how our special reading program works to foster a love of reading. Families were able to sign up for a one-on-one reading time with one of our special Reading Buddy Dogs.
