The four Bright Spot Therapy Dogs that comforted folks in Newtown, Connecticut, days after the horrible tragedy that occurred on December 14, 2012, are heading back to Newtown this Saturday. The town has invited all therapy dogs that came to Newtown in the aftermath of the tragedy to a Thank You Party. The event will take place at the Fairfield Hills Campus in Newtown. Some 70 therapy dogs are expected.
Lily had a bath and trim today to get herself ready for the party. She will be joined by Bright Spot Therapy Dogs Gus, a sweet black and white Newfoundland, with his teammate Nancy LaFountain-Blow, and Great Danes Lilo and Tucker with their teammate Ern Damon. We hope to reconnect with many of the wonderful folks we met while there in December.
