It was a dog lovers paradise at Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Hadley, Massachusetts, where Bright Spot Therapy Dogs held its 3rd annual FUN DAY WITH DOGS.
With 25 dogs and handlers participating in the event, there were dogs to be petted and dog-related activities taking place throughout the store.
Bright Spot therapy dog Cadence and her teammate Megan Marshall were among the volunteers stationed at our information booth located in the front of the store.
Here, shoppers could obtain information on getting their own dog certified as a therapy dog, as well as pick up a schedule of events taking place throughout the store.
Attendees could talk with Nancy Ronan about Geocaching With Your Dog…
And learn about the special work Bright Spot Brinkley and his teammate Ned Polan do as a certified Hope Animal-Assisted Crisis Response Team…
Volunteers Sally King and Karyn Cordner were on hand to discuss our new therapy dog program at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut…
Many young children enjoyed reading a story to one of our specially trained Reading Buddy Dogs…
Lots of attendees just came to hang out with the dogs and talk to their owners…
Barnes & Noble reported record-breaking sales during our FUN DAY WITH DOGS.
This translates into a higher than last year or the year before donation to Bright Spot Therapy Dogs supporting the meaningful work our therapy dog teams do bringing comfort and caring to those who need it most.
