Since our Bright Spot Reading Buddy Program first piloted at the Westhampton Elementary School (WES) in the spring of 2012, it has expanded to 8 elementary schools in Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin, and Worcester Counties.
Recently certified Reading Buddy Max will begin working at the Kelly School in Holyoke, Massachusetts next week.
We are extremely proud of the success of this program and pleased that 9 Bright Spot Therapy Dog Teams have been through our special Bright Spot Reading Buddy Training to become certified Reading Buddy Teams.
